Continuing Our Tradtion of Excellence:  St. Camillus Expands Campus


Ground breaking ceremony - Held on April 14th at 1:30pm

Wauwatosa, WI, April 18th, 2016 - St. Camillus is excited to begin our first phase of our upcoming expansion plan!  The expansion officially broke ground on April 14th, and will include a 72 unit Assisted Living building, with apartments for both memory care and frail elderly residents, a new 50 unit Jesuit Building with its own chapel, and a 3 story 20 unit Community House for our Camillian priests and brothers to all reside under one roof.

Thursday's event welcomed 12 official diggers and 5 speakers, including Kathleen Ehley, Mayor of Wauwatosa, and E. Michael McCann, former District Attorney of Milwaukee County.  Residents, staff, families, and visitors from the community joined outside as St. Camillus CEO Rick Johnson and St. Camillus Provincial and President, Fr. Pedro Tramontin, welcomed guests and provided a blessing over the new construction site.  Over 300 people were in attendance and shared conversation and h'dourves  after the ceremony in receptions held on our St. Camillus campus.


Looking to the future

As a not-for-profit, St. Camillus is dedicated to our mission of providing quality service to the aging.  By providing services to the poor, the sick and the elderly with a sense of compassion and love, St. Camillus campus offers hope and meaning to those who are suffering, comfort and security to those who are aging, and serenity to those who are dying, taking into account each person's innate dignity, unique needs, and God given rights.  St. Camillus has been proudly serving southeastern Wisconsin for over 90 years and we are excited about expanding our mission as we move forward with growing our campus.
